A Russian attack on a food-processing facility in the Ukrainian city of Dnipro has killed two people and injured five others, including a child, according to regional authorities.
“There are already five people injured as a result of the Russian attack on Dnipro. One of them is a child. Medics are providing everyone with the necessary assistance,” Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, said.
Local Telegram channels reported that the target was the Oleina oil extraction plant, which produces sunflower oil under the Oleina brand.
The facility, known as the Dnipro Oil Extraction Plant, is part of U.S.-based agribusiness company Bunge. The company has operated the plant since acquiring it through its corporate structure, and the facility produces Oleina sunflower oil.

Russian forces have carried out another strike on the Ukrainian city of Dnipro, with two people killed, Oleksandr Hanzha, head of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Military Administration, has said.
He noted that an enemy attack on Dnipro damaged a food-processing enterprise, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.
“Two people were killed, and another two were injured. The enemy attacked Dnipro again. The same enterprise, which had already been damaged by a previous strike, was hit again. A fire broke out,” he added.
Earlier, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy announced Ukrainian forces struck eight Russian infrastructure sites over 24 hours, including oil refineries in the Yamalo-Nenets region and a commercial seaport in Dagestan.
