Uzbek President Shavkat Mirziyoyev has appointed his eldest daughter, Saida Mirziyoyeva, Governor of the Tashkent International Financial Centre alongside her position as Head of the Administration of the President of Uzbekistan, SPOT reports, citing presidential press secretary Sherzod Asadov.


The report said the Governor will coordinate the launch of the centre, represent its interests before international organisations, investors and partners, and also serve as Secretary-General of the Financial Centre Council.


Her responsibilities will also include participation in personnel decisions, concluding agreements, establishing working groups and engaging experts.
