A drone struck an area near the Respublika Park shopping centre in Kyiv, apparently hitting a petrol station, according to Ukrainian monitoring channels.
A fire broke out at the scene.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said there were injuries in the attack and that ambulance crews had been sent to the site.
