Around 40 young Azerbaijanis have attended the Meet & Greet event in New York to discuss work carried out as part of the state youth policy, as well as the activities of Azerbaijani young people studying in the United States to promote their country, the Azerbaijani Students and Alumni Platform (ASAP) has said.
The event was organised with the support of the Youth Foundation and at the initiative of ASAP, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
Speakers included Javid Ismayilov, First Secretary of Azerbaijan’s Permanent Mission to the United Nations, and Mirgunay Bayramova, a member of ASAP’s board.
Elman Gozalov, ASAP’s representative in New York, spoke about the organisation’s activities and support mechanisms, as well as projects planned for implementation in the coming months.
