The Novy Urengoy Condensate Preparation Plant, one of Russia’s key gas condensate infrastructure facilities, has come under attack.
According to Exilenova+, the facility, located in Russia’s Yamal-Nenets Autunomous Area, was targeted in an attack.
The plant is considered a strategically important part of the region’s gas condensate infrastructure, with a designed processing capacity of approximately 19.5 million tons of raw materials annually.
The facility is located more than 2,800 kilometres from the presumed point of origin of the attack in a straight line.
