Two people have died in a major fire at a warehouse storing plastic products in Shchyolkovo, in Russia’s Moscow region, according to a source cited by REN TV on September 9.
The blaze broke out earlier at the warehouse, with the fire initially reported to have covered an area of 1,800 square metres.
The hangar and the facade of the building were engulfed in flames, while firefighters managed to contain the blaze to the affected area.
Emergency crews remain at the scene.
