Russia is showcasing its latest aviation technologies at an international air show in Egypt, with the export version of the Su-57 fighter jet among the event’s key premieres.
The United Aircraft Corporation (UAC) has released footage showing the Su-57 conducting a training flight.
The export-oriented version of the fifth-generation fighter has been modified to engage targets in the air, on land and at sea, including in conditions of intense electronic warfare interference.
Russia is also presenting the Yak-130M, an upgraded combat trainer featuring modernized onboard systems. The aircraft is designed to conduct strikes against ground targets during both day and night operations and under various weather conditions.
The international air show is being held in El Alamein, Egypt, and runs through September 10.
