Iran will intensify strikes against US military vessels if Washington does not halt attacks on vessels belonging to the Islamic Republic, Ebrahim Zolfaghari, a spokesperson for Iran’s Khatam al-Anbiya Central Headquarters, warned.
“If the crimes, destabilization and disruption against Iranian vessels continue, as well as the naval blockade of Iran, the strikes by the armed forces of the Islamic Republic of Iran against US warships in the region will become more serious than before,” Iran’s Fars news agency quoted Zolfaghari as saying.
He also stressed that Tehran is considering the possibility of “expanding these attacks.”
