The European Union has reportedly financed the participation of a delegation of 120 Turkish businesspeople at the Armenian Economic Forum,  Armenian newspaper Hraparak writes.

Brussels also reportedly provided a grant to the Union of Industrialists and Entrepreneurs of Armenia for a project aimed at strengthening economic ties and improving relations between Armenia and Türkiye.

However, Hraparak reported that the EU did not cover travel, accommodation or participation expenses for Armenian businesspeople attending the forum.

The exact value of the grant awarded to the Armenian business organisation, as well as the total amount spent by the EU on the Turkish delegation’s visit, was not disclosed.
