Russia’s Rospotrebnadzor is carrying out air quality monitoring in Sochi following an overnight attack that reportedly sparked fires at oil storage facilities in the area.
Firefighting operations remain underway at a Rosneft oil depot in Sochi, which caught fire following the attack.
Authorities are conducting air quality tests to assess potential environmental and public health impacts from the blaze and resulting smoke.
Meanwhile, the ASTRA Telegram channel reported that an oil depot operated by LUKOIL-Yugnefteprodukt also caught fire in the Sirius Federal Territory following the overnight attack.
