Five people were killed and 14 injured in attacks on Russia’s Belgorod Region over a 24-hour period, the region’s acting governor, Alexander Shuvaev, said on Friday, September 3.


Five people, including emergency medical workers, were killed in the Shebekinsky district, Shuvaev said.


Fourteen residents were injured in the Grayvoronsky, Rakityansky and Shebekinsky districts. Nine of those injured have been hospitalized, while doctors have described the condition of one person as serious, according to the acting governor.
