BAKU, Azerbaijan, September 1. An earthquake
with a magnitude of 3.9 occurred in Azerbaijan’s Shamakhi
district.
This was reported by the Earthquake Research Bureau of the
Republican Seismological Service Center.
The earthquake, measuring 3.9 in magnitude, was recorded at
03:39 local time, 23 kilometers southwest of the Pirgulu station.
The earthquake was not felt.
The epicenter was located at a depth of 14 kilometers.
