China and Kyrgyzstan will discuss developing their strategic partnership during a meeting between Chinese President Xi Jinping and his Kyrgyz counterpart, Sadyr Japarov.
The visit is scheduled for August 30 at the invitation of Sadyr Japarov, Calibre.Az reports, citing Kyrgyz media.
The leaders are expected to conclude several intergovernmental, interstate and interagency agreements.
Xi Jinping will also take part in events marking the 35th anniversary of Kyrgyzstan’s independence, a meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) and the opening ceremony of the World Nomad Games.
The Chinese president is also scheduled to make a state visit to Egypt.
