A fire has broken out at the construction site of the Amur Gas Chemical Complex in Russia, prompting emergency services to respond to the incident.
As Amur Life reports, citing the company’s press service, the blaze poses no threat to residents in nearby areas.
As a precautionary measure, the facility is shutting down equipment involved in commissioning and start-up operations. Emergency response teams have been dispatched to the site, while efforts are underway to contain and mitigate the consequences of the fire.
No injuries have been reported so far. Authorities and company officials are investigating the circumstances of the incident and assessing the extent of the damage.
