Armenian law enforcement officers are searching the shops and office of jewellery brand Pregomesh, which is owned by Sirusho, a well-known Armenian singer and daughter-in-law of former Armenian President Robert Kocharyan, her lawyer Alexander Kochubayev has said.

His colleague, Erik Aleksanyan, is at the apartment of Levon Kocharyan, Kocharyan’s son, where another search is underway, Caliber.Az reports, citing Armenian media.

Earlier, Kocharyan’s son Sedrak Kocharyan was taken to the country’s Anti-Corruption Committee.

Law enforcement officers are also carrying out searches at his home.

Members of Robert Kocharyan’s family remain at the residence as the search continues.

The circumstances surrounding Sedrak Kocharyan’s transfer to the Anti-Corruption Committee have not been disclosed.

The Armenian Anti-Corruption Committee confirmed on August 25 that searches and other procedural actions were being conducted at several dozen addresses as part of a criminal investigation into alleged corruption-related offences.

National Security Service officers also raided the home of Kocharyan’s son Levon Kocharyan early in the morning.
