BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 24. A video has been
produced on President Ilham Aliyev’s state visit to Uzbekistan,
featuring footage of the head of state’s participation in events in
the cities of Tashkent and Bukhara.
Trend reports that the video,
prepared by the Presidential Press Service, also includes footage
of President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva visiting
the Independence Monument in Tashkent and laying bouquets of
flowers before the bas-relief of National Leader Heydar Aliyev at
Heydar Aliyev Square.
The footage also shows the official welcoming ceremony for the
President of Azerbaijan at the Kuksaroy State Residence in
Tashkent, the head of state’s one-on-one meeting with his Uzbek
counterpart, Shavkat Mirziyoyev, as well as his participation
online in the opening and groundbreaking ceremonies of joint
projects.
The video also features the ceremony for the signing and
exchange of documents between Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan. In
addition, it includes footage of Ilham Aliyev being briefed on
Uzbekistan’s largest urban development project, “New Tashkent.”
The video also shows the third meeting of the Supreme Interstate
Council of Azerbaijan and Uzbekistan, the ceremony at which the
presidents were presented with awards, statements by Ilham Aliyev
and Shavkat Mirziyoyev to the press, and the opening of the Nizami
Ganjavi National Pedagogical University.
The video continues with President Ilham Aliyev and First Lady
Mehriban Aliyeva’s trip from Tashkent to Bukhara. In Bukhara, it
also features their visits to the Ismail Samani Mausoleum, the Ark
Fortress, and the Poi-Kalyan complex.
The footage concludes with the end of the President’s state
visit to Uzbekistan.
