BAKU, Azerbaijan, August 9. The European Judo
Cup among juniors has concluded in Skopje, the capital of North
Macedonia, the Azerbaijan Judo Federation reports.


The national team won 2 gold and 4 bronze medals on the final
day of the tournament.


Khadija Gadashova (up to 57 kg) and Davud Namazli (up to 100 kg)
defeated all their opponents to win the tournament.


Nargiz Ahmadova and Gulgez Musayeva (both up to 48 kg), Ayten
Verdiyeva (up to 57 kg), and Janpolad Aliyev (up to 100 kg) won
bronze medals.







It should be recalled that on the first day of the competition,
Nilgun Rzayeva (up to 63 kg) also won a bronze medal.


Thus, the Azerbaijan national team, having won a total of 7
medals — 2 gold and 5 bronze — finished third in the team standings
at the European Cup, which was attended by representatives of 33
countries.
