KHOJAVEND, Azerbaijan, August 8. A mine
explosion occurred on August 7 in the territory of Gizilgaya
village in Azerbaijan’s Khojavend district.
The press services of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of the
Republic of Azerbaijan, the Prosecutor General’s Office and the
Mine Action Agency of the Republic of Azerbaijan (ANAMA) reported
this.
According to the information, a bulldozer operated by Elchin
Telman oglu Abbasov, a resident of the Gazakh district born in
1961, hit a mine in an uncleared area. No one was injured in the
incident.
The Khojavend District Prosecutor’s Office is conducting an
investigation into the incident.
