US President Donald Trump has said his "real polling numbers" are the highest they have ever been, while rejecting surveys published by what he described as the "Fake News Media".

In a post on Truth Social on August 3, Trump said his approval ratings reflected what he called major achievements during his presidency.

He cited "the biggest tax cuts and employment numbers EVER", "the biggest outside Investment in America in World history", "a totally secure Border", "a giant Victory in Venezuela", "the Denuclearization of Iran", and "unparalleled respect and success throughout the World".

Trump urged supporters not to believe what he called the "Radical Left's Fake Poll numbers", describing them as "Crooked and Corrupt".

He also criticised Democrats, referring to them as "Country Destroying Dumocrats" and accusing them of being "Crooked and Corrupt".
