The US Central Command (CENTCOM) has confirmed the resumption of military strikes against Iran, according to a statement posted on its X account.
Explosions were reported in the southern Iranian cities of Konarak and Chabahar.
In its statement, the command said: “The United States is holding Iran accountable for recent unjustified aggression against commercial shipping and civilian crews freely navigating a vital international waterway.”
