A magnitude 5.8 earthquake struck off the coast of the Philippines, the European-Mediterranean Seismological Centre (EMSC) has announced.


The earthquake's epicentre was located 49 kilometres north of Sarangani at a depth of 35 kilometres, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.


There were no immediate reports of casualties or damage, and no tsunami warning was issued.
