Ukrainian forces have carried out overnight strikes on two oil refineries in Russia and a petroleum products terminal in Crimea, Ukraine's General Staff has stated.
It said the targets included the Slavneft-YANOS oil refinery in Yaroslavl and the Novatek Ust-Luga refinery in Russia's Leningrad region, Caliber.Az reports.
The military noted that forces struck the TES-Terminal-1 facility in Kerch, describing it as one of the largest storage and transhipment terminals for light petroleum products in Crimea.
According to the General Staff, the Slavneft-YANOS refinery is among Russia's largest oil-processing facilities, with a design capacity of 15 million tonnes of crude oil per year.
The refinery produces gasoline, diesel fuel, aviation fuel, lubricants and other products used, among other purposes, to support Russia's military logistics.
