The Polish military scrambled fighter jets after explosions were reported on Ukrainian territory, the Operational Command of the Polish Armed Forces announced on X.
“Ground-based air defence systems and radar reconnaissance assets have been placed on alert,” the statement said.
The command noted that the measures were preventive in nature and aimed at ensuring security and protecting Poland’s airspace.
