BAKU, Azerbaijan, June 30. An international
conference on "Modern approaches to resolving the issue of missing
persons and strengthening cooperation" is being held in the
Gulustan Palace in cooperation with the International Commission on
Missing Persons (ICMP), Trend's correspondent reports from the event.
The conference is being organized by the State Commission on
Prisoners of War, Missingç and Hostages of Azerbaijan.
The event will feature speeches by Deputy Chief of the State
Security Service of Azerbaijan, Lieutenant General Sharafat
Hasanov, Secretary of the State Commission on Prisoners of War,
Missing and Hostages of Azerbaijan, Head of the Working Group
Gazanfar Ahmadov, the Deputy Foreign Minister of Azerbaijan Elnur
Mammadov, Director General of the International Commission on
Missing Persons (ICMP) Kathryne Bomberger, Head of the Main
Military Medical Department of the State Security Service of
Azerbaijan Rufat Aliyev, Director of the Forensic Medical Expertise
and Pathological Anatomy Unit of the Ministry of Health Adalat
Hasanov, Director of the Institute of Archaeology and Anthropology
of the Azerbaijan National Academy of Sciences Farhad Guliyev, and
MP Zahid Oruj.
