The Azerbaijani Cultural Association of Regina, based in Canada, has received the Community Impact Award as part of the She&Success Business Awards programme, Azerbaijan's State Committee for Diaspora Affairs said.
According to the committee, the association was recognised for its efforts to strengthen unity within the Azerbaijani diaspora in Canada and foster cooperation among different ethnic and cultural communities, Caliber.Az reports.
The award also acknowledged the organisation's work in promoting multiculturalism and raising awareness of Azerbaijani culture, history and national heritage among the Canadian public.
