The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) carried out strikes on three Hezbollah command centres in southern Lebanon in response to violations of the ceasefire agreement.

“Yesterday (Sunday), in response to Hezbollah’s violations of the ceasefire agreement in the form of continued attacks on IDF soldiers in the Security Zone, the IDF struck three Hezbollah command centers in the areas of Nabatieh and Mayfadoun in southern Lebanon,” the military said in a statement.

In a separate strike carried out earlier on Sunday, June 28, fighters from the Multi-Dimensional Unit targeted a Hezbollah launcher that, according to the army, continued attempts to attack IDF forces.

“The IDF will continue to operate to remove any threat posed to IDF soldiers and will not allow the Hezbollah terrorist organization to harm Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers,” the army’s statement added.
