Russia launches nearly 1,000 strikes on Ukraine in 24 hours, causing four deaths and 28 injuries across Ukraine's Zaporizhzhia region, Governor Ivan Fedorov has stated.

In a post on Telegram, he said the casualties were recorded in the city of Zaporizhzhia, as well as the Zaporizhzhia and Polohy districts, Caliber.Az reports.

The regional administration said Russian forces carried out 973 strikes on 45 settlements during the reporting period.

The attacks included 29 airstrikes, 737 drone attacks—mostly involving FPV drones—six multiple-launch rocket system (MLRS) strikes, and 201 artillery attacks.

Authorities also received 249 reports of damage to residential buildings, vehicles, and infrastructure.

On June 28, ASTRA reported that Russian forces had dropped a guided aerial bomb on Zaporizhzhia, resulting in casualties.
