Two people were killed and nine others injured in Russian attacks across Ukraine's Sumy region, the National Police of Ukraine has stated.
In a post on Telegram, it said in the Seredyna-Buda community, three women aged 69, 62, and 57, as well as a 48-year-old man, were injured in Russian shelling, Caliber.Az reports.
“The 69-year-old woman died from her injuries in an ambulance. In the Velyka Pysarivka community, a 77-year-old man was killed in a Russian drone strike,” the police noted.
According to the authorities, in the Khutir-Mykhailivskyi community, a 65-year-old man was injured when a drone struck a vehicle.
“In the Sumy community, a 48-year-old woman and a 72-year-old man were injured in drone attacks. A 78-year-old woman was also injured,” the police added.
It also reported that two men sought medical treatment for injuries sustained in previous Russian attacks on June 27.
They included a 24-year-old resident of the Sumy community wounded in a drone strike and a 59-year-old resident of the Vorozhba community injured in a guided aerial bomb attack.
