The price of Azerbaijan's Azeri Light crude oil rose on the global market, gaining $0.99, or 1.3%, to reach $77.37 per barrel, a source in the oil market announced.


Meanwhile, Brent crude futures for August delivery settled at $73.24 per barrel at the close of trading, Caliber.Az reports per local media.


The price of Azerbaijani oil exported via the Turkish port of Ceyhan on FOB terms also increased, rising by $0.84, or 1.1%, to $74.92 per barrel.


Azerbaijan's 2026 state budget is based on an assumed average oil price of $65 per barrel.
