Spain winger Lamine Yamal has become the youngest player in history to score at both the FIFA World Cup and the UEFA European Championship.

According to Sport-Express, the 18-year-old opened the scoring in Spain’s match against Saudi Arabia on the 10th minute, finishing off a cross from Mikel Oyarzabal.

Yamal previously featured at UEFA Euro 2024, where he scored one goal and provided four assists.

With his latest strike, the Spanish star has set a new age record, becoming the youngest player ever to score at both of football’s premier international tournaments.
