Azerbaijani boxer Saidjamshid Jafarov claimed the gold medal in the 75 kg division at the Boxing World Cup in Guiyang, China.


In the final of the second World Cup ranking event of the year, the Azerbaijani fighter delivered a dominant performance to defeat Bulgaria’s Rami Kiwan by a unanimous 5–0 decision, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.


Earlier in the tournament, Azerbaijan had already secured two bronze medals through Murad Allahverdiyev (80 kg) and Alfonso Dominguez (90 kg).


As a result, Azerbaijan concluded its campaign at the World Cup in China with one gold and two bronze medals.
