The Turkish Ministry of Defence has allocated training places for Azerbaijani servicemen under its 2026–2027 international military education programme, according to a newly published quota plan.
According to Caliber.Az, the plan, released via the ministry’s official account on the social media platform X, outlines training opportunities for a total of 448 personnel from 16 countries.
Azerbaijan is among the participating states, alongside Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan and Uzbekistan, among others.
According to the document, the programme is part of Türkiye’s broader effort to expand military education cooperation with partner countries.
The number of participants may increase further as additional applications are reviewed and approved.
