Russia will continue carrying out large-scale strikes on targets in Ukraine that are linked to the combat readiness of the Ukrainian Armed Forces, Russian Foreign Minister Sergey Lavrov said.

Lavrov stated that this objective set by President Vladimir Putin is being implemented, Caliber.Az reports, citing Russian media.

“Not by chance, the president announced some time ago, after yet another provocation by Kyiv, that we will now carry out massive group strikes on a regular basis — on targets whose condition directly affects the combat capability of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This task has been set by the supreme commander-in-chief, and our armed forces are fulfilling it and will continue to do,” the minister noted.

He made the comments while responding to a Ukrainian UAV attack on the Moscow region.

Lavrov added that concrete actions must follow in response to the strike on the Moscow region, stressing that words alone are insufficient.

“I believe that all the right words have been said, but I have long been convinced that words are not enough,” the FM added.
