Portugal forward Cristiano Ronaldo has become the oldest outfield player ever to start a match in World Cup history.
He also becomes only the second player in history, after Lionel Messi, to feature at six World Cup tournaments, Caliber.Az reports, citing statistics provider Opta.
He is set to start for Portugal in their match against the Democratic Republic of the Congo.
The match is scheduled to kick off on June 17 at 17:00 GMT.
