Seven people, including five children, have been hospitalised following a reported drone attack on a bus carrying children from Belarus in Russia’s Bryansk region, according to Russian officials.
Alexei Kuznetsov, assistant to the Russian Minister of Health, said all those injured in the incident were receiving medical treatment in hospital, Caliber.Az reports via Russian media.
“Seven people injured in the drone attack on a bus in the Bryansk region have been hospitalised, including five children. All of the injured are receiving the full range of necessary medical care,” he said.
The Russian Ministry of Health said one victim is in serious condition, while the remaining patients are in moderate condition.
Authorities also said the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation has opened a criminal case in connection with the incident.
