Türkiye has achieved a new milestone in its aviation history after carrying out its first-ever 10-aircraft formation flight, featuring two domestically developed HÜRJET jets alongside the Turkish Stars aerobatic team.

The demonstration highlighted the growing role of Türkiye’s indigenous aerospace capabilities, with the inclusion of the HÜRJET advanced jet trainers in a large-scale coordinated formation for the first time, Caliber.Az reports via foreign media

The HÜRJET is a single-engine supersonic jet developed domestically to replace the T-38M and NF-5 Freedom Fighter aircraft in the Turkish Air Force, while also serving as a partial alternative to the F-16 fighter fleet in training roles and light combat support.
