The European Bank for Reconstruction and Development (EBRD) is ready to explore financing options for Azerbaijan’s Energy Efficiency Fund, offering technical assistance, David Managadze, a regional head of the financial institution, has stated.
Speaking at the 31st Baku Energy Forum, he said the EBRD would help broaden access to financing channels for related projects, Caliber.Az reports, citing local media.
“We would be happy to provide financing through local financial institutions,” he noted.
He added that the EBRD remains open to supporting energy efficiency initiatives in Azerbaijan through both financial instruments and institutional cooperation.
