Ukraine’s Ministry of Foreign Affairs has denied remarks by the European Union’s foreign policy chief, Kaja Kallas, suggesting that the United States embassy had evacuated from Kyiv.
Foreign Ministry spokesperson Georgiy Tikhiy said the comments were inaccurate and stressed that the US diplomatic mission remains in the Ukrainian capital, Caliber.Az reports per Ukrainian media.
Earlier, Kallas stated that the US has reportedly evacuated diplomats from Kyiv after Russian warnings.
"All Europeans stayed. The US left," she said.
In response, Ukraine’s Foreign Ministry rejected the claim, saying the information was “not true.”
