The Israel Defence Forces (IDF) have struck a Hezbollah weapons production site located near a mosque, targeting a building that was also being used as a clinic.

According to the IDF, the strike took place on Monday, May 19, in the Tyre area in southern Lebanon, where an arms manufacturing facility operated by Hezbollah was hit. The site was situated in a structure serving as a civilian clinic, only a few meters from a mosque.

“Following the strike, secondary explosions were identified at the site, indicating the presence of weapons stored within the structure.

The Hezbollah terrorist organization continues to operate from within and close to civilian and medical infrastructure, including religious sites and medical clinics, and cynically exploits them in order to execute terror attacks against Israeli civilians and IDF soldiers,” the army added.
