The Victory Day parade on Moscow’s Red Square on May 9 will take place as usual, Kremlin spokesperson Dmitry Peskov has said, although the format of the event has yet to be confirmed, Russian media reports.

Asked during a press briefing whether the parade would include the traditional display of military hardware, Peskov said: “Of course, the parade will take place. We will inform you in due course about the format of the parade.”

In early April, Russian Telegram channels suggested that the May 9 parade in Moscow could be cancelled.
