The Israeli military said its troops discovered a cache of weapons inside a school building in southern Lebanon during ongoing operations in the area of Bint Jbeil.

In a statement, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said soldiers located more than 130 weapons, including Kalashnikov rifles, pistols, and other equipment. The military added that flags and insignia linked to Hezbollah were also found at the site, Caliber.Az reports.

According to the IDF, the weapons were confiscated and troops continued search operations in the area.

The Israeli military alleged that Hezbollah uses civilian infrastructure to support its activities, though the claims could not be independently verified.
