The Israel Defense Forces (IDF) says its air force has been carrying out regular air strikes in southern Lebanon in support of ground operations.
In a statement released by the military’s press office, the IDF said the strikes are aimed at targets associated with Hezbollah infrastructure. According to the statement, hundreds of such targets have been hit so far, Caliber.Az reports.
The military said the operations are intended to reduce threats to Israeli troops operating in the area.
