The Israeli Air Force has carried out strikes on more than 200 targets belonging to Hezbollah in southern Lebanon, while continuing to support ground operations in the area, the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) said.

“In the past 24 hours, more than 200 targets belonging to the Hezbollah terrorist organization in southern Lebanon were struck. Among the targets were militants, military buildings, and around 20 launchers, including launchers that fired rockets toward Israeli territory and were destroyed during interception at high speed,” the Israeli military said in a statement.

The IDF said the strikes are part of ongoing operations aimed at degrading Hezbollah’s military infrastructure and reducing rocket fire from southern Lebanon.
