The port of Izmail in Ukraine’s Odesa region came under attack again overnight, authorities confirmed.
The State Emergency Service (SES) reported that the strike caused multiple fires within the port infrastructure. Emergency crews were quickly deployed and managed to extinguish all outbreaks.
“As a result of the strikes, fires broke out on the territory of the port infrastructure. Rescue teams promptly extinguished all sources of fire. There were no deaths or injuries,” the SES said in a statement.
