Iran’s nationwide internet blackout has lasted for 43 days, exceeding 1,000 hours, according to internet monitoring organisation NetBlocks.

According to the monitoring organisation, most people in Iran remain restricted to a state-controlled network, while only selected users are granted limited access to the global internet for communication and content exchange with users abroad, Caliber.Az reports.

NetBlocks said the prolonged disruption has significantly limited online connectivity across the country.
