A new bilateral roundtable bringing together representatives of civil society from Azerbaijan and Armenia has begun in Azerbaijan as part of the “Bridge of Peace” initiative.

According to Caliber.Az, the dialogue is being held within the framework of a jointly agreed peace agenda adopted at a trilateral summit between the leaders of Azerbaijan, Armenia and the United States in Washington on August 8, 2025.

Discussions at the roundtable focus on the current state of the peace process, the activities of participants in the Bridge of Peace initiative in their respective countries, and developments across the wider region.

Separate sessions are expected to address the promotion of peace at the societal level and efforts to strengthen mutual trust as the peace process advances.
