Russia and Ukraine have once again carried out an exchange of the bodies of deceased military personnel, State Duma deputy Shamsail Saraliev, a member of the parliamentary coordination group on war issues, announced.
Saraliev noted that 1,000 bodies were returned to Ukraine, while Russia received 41, Caliber.Az reports per Russian media.
The previous exchange took place on February 26, when Ukraine received 1,000 bodies and Russia 35. An earlier exchange in late January saw Moscow return 1,000 bodies to Kyiv and receive 38 in return.
