Abu Dhabi authorities have confirmed that the recent incident at the Habshan gas complex was caused by falling debris following a successful interception by air defence systems. The debris ignited multiple fires across the facility.
Three people sustained minor injuries in the incident, including two Emirati nationals and one Indian national, the Abu Dhabi press service said, Caliber.Az reports.
Operations at the complex have been temporarily suspended as authorities assess the situation.
Officials urged the public to rely only on verified sources for updates and avoid sharing unconfirmed reports or rumors.
