Denmark’s Foreign Minister, Lars Løkke Rasmussen, praised the recent ceasefire between the United States and Iran, saying it could help prevent a global economic crisis.
In a post on his X account, Rasmussen noted that reopening the Strait of Hormuz would further support regional stability and international trade, Caliber.Az reports.
“We cannot go back to the past, so I welcome yesterday’s ceasefire, which could potentially restore free navigation in the Strait of Hormuz and prevent a serious global economic downturn.”
He added that, in his view, the ceasefire has made the world “better than it was yesterday,” highlighting the potential positive impact on both global security and the economy.
