The CIA reportedly used a secret device in Iran to rescue a pilot shot down over the country. The technology, called “Ghost Murmur”, employs long-range quantum magnetometry to detect the electromagnetic signature of a human heartbeat, according to The New York Post, citing sources.

The system compares the data with AI-based software to isolate the heartbeat signal from background noise.

“Ghost Murmur” was deployed in the field for the first time during this rescue operation, a fact hinted at by Donald Trump and John Ratcliffe, the report says.

“It’s like hearing a voice in a stadium, except the stadium is a thousand square miles of desert. In the right conditions, if your heart is beating, we will find you,” said a source familiar with the program.
